About Viniyoga
Viniyoga relies on a series of muscular stretches and isometric contractions known as proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF). PNF warms up the muscles and helps prevent injury, which can be particularly useful for individuals with preexisting injuries. Viniyoga can also be beneficial for lower back pain.
Though anyone can practice Viniyoga, not everyone can teach it. Viniyoga instructors must be certified by the American Viniyoga Institute.
