Ultherapy is a non-invasive device that uses focused ultrasound energy to lift the skin on the face and neck.

I had ultherapy and it caused a very large blister under my chin - is that normal? Did the technician burn me??

Hello. Things to consider initially are how far out from the treatment are you and what have you been doing to treat the blistering. Although I have not seen any blistering in any of my patients whom I have performed Ultherapy on, it is possible to blister if a treatment line had too much gel. Therefore, the energy that was emitted caused a thermal injury to the epidermis/skin and not to the deeper areas as intended. My recommendation would be to have the area evaluated as soon as you can so that the proper treatment can be initiated early rather than late. Hope this helps.
