Common stretches for neck pain include: lowering your ear towards the top of your shoulder and holding 10-15 seconds then repeat on the oppostie side; lowering your chin to your chest, hold for 10-15 seconds and then raise your chin to the ceiling holding for 10-15 seconds. Lastly, while sitting up straight, rotate the neck looking to the right, to the center, then to the left. As you perform these movements, hold for 10-15 seconds each. The best thing you can do for neck pain however, is to determine the root cause. Common reasons include incorrect positioning while sleeping, bad posture, stress, and muscle strain. Have a great day!
