Where can Juvederm be injected in the face?

Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid filler that can be injected just about anywhere in the face including; under eyes, temples, forehead, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, jowls and frown.

Juvederm, like Restylane, comes as a family of injectable products, and is not simply one product. Abroad, where I also have a private practice in addition to my New York City office, I have had the opportunity of using all of the line of products from each of these product lines--each having different purposes and methods of injection. In appropriate selected cases, I have personally used Juvederm products to treat the bags and tear troughs under the eyes, to restore the upward and outward flare of the eyebrows, to straighten bent noses or raise fallen tips, to augment the lips, to create or restore receded chins, to straighten jowly jawlines, to fill sunken cheeks and temples and to create high, fashionable cheekbones. And of course, it is best known for being able to fill fine crinkles and wrinkles and to eliminate laugh lines on the sides of the nose and marionette (sad) lines around the mouth. In the final analysis, because of the growing variety of injectables and their uses, the actual choice of the injectable filler material, its location of use, and the technique of injection should be trusted only to the hands of an experienced injector who has had experience with all the available materials and their varied uses.

Juvedrem is a hyaluronic acid and, therefore, is a natural product. It is safe to be injected in any part of the face. But it is not a volumizer which means that if someone really wants to increase the size of a feature such as the cheek bones, then it is etter to use a product like Radiesse.

In general, Juvderm or Restylane can be injected into any unwanted / undesired facial fold, wrinkle, etc. Also, can be used to augment / enhance lips, cheek, chin. Botox or Dysport are better for wrinkles of the forehead, frown lines (between the eyes) and crow's feet areas.

Juvederm (R) can be injected in areas where there has been a loss of volume or where there are fine lines such as the nasolabial folds, the lips, the chin, etc. There are a number of choices in injectable fillers each of which may have particular advantages for specific areas to be treated.
