Body scrubs

You can scrub yourself in the privacy of your own bathtub, but wouldn’t it be so much lovelier to have someone do it for you in a spa? They can reach your back too.

A body scrub, also called a body polish, is a method of thoroughly cleaning and exfoliating body skin. A body scrub rubs away dead, flaky cells on the skin’s surface.

Many scrubs are followed by moisturizing to soothe the skin. The exfoliating material in body scrubs can be anything from coffee grounds to apricot pits to sea salt, but it all works in the same manner.

People generally get a body scrub when their skin is looking dull and feeling dry. A body scrub gives the skin a fresh glow and a brighter appearance. Body scrubs are often combined with body wraps. The wrap is performed after the scrub.
