Depends on how it is applied. If done properly. it can help. In our clinic we use a combination of treatments, including electro-acupuncture and moxa, to reduce the inflammation. Be sure to discuss all options with your practitioner before moving forward on a treatment plan. Surgery should be a last resort.

Yes. However, I find carpal tunnel syndrome benefit from more proximal points on the forearm.
