Sample Daily Plan For Zone Diet

All meals listed here are based on a 2 block meal:

Breakfast: 1/2 pita bread, 1/4 cup black beans, 1 scrambled egg, 1 ounce of cheese, 2 macadamia nuts

Lunch: 1 slice bread, 3 oz. sliced turkey, 2 Tbsp avocado

Dinner: beef stew made with 2/3 tsp olive oil, 1/4 cup onion, 1/2 cup green pepper, 1/2 cup zucchini, 1 cup mushrooms, 1/4 cup tomato sauce

Snacks: 1/2 cup plain yogurt and pecans, 3 ounces baked tofu, 1/2 apple, or 1/2 tsp peanut butter

Daily calorie consumption: Physical factors such as height, weight, wrist size, and physical activity help to determine the exact amount of carbs, fats, and proteins you should be eating with every meal. Typically, meals should consist of no more than 500 calories, and snacks should max out at 100 calories.
