Spafinder leverages ‘on-demand economy’ with Zeel partnership
Spafinder Wellness, the Miami-based marketing, gifting, incentives and rewards company for the wellness industry with 26,000 wellness and travel partner locations worldwide, has partnered with Zeel, a young, on-demand massage company. Zeel will be the exclusive provider of in-home massages to Spafinder Wellness’ customers. Through Spafinder.com, customers can book and enjoy a Zeel Massage in the privacy of their home, hotel or workplace in as little as an hour or up to a month in advance. Spafinder Wellness 365 customers can search Spafinder.com specifically for the Zeel Massage/in-home category, and the company’s wellness/gift cards are accepted as payment by Zeel. Spafinder, founded in 1986, moved its global headquarters from New York to Miami in December. The company has about 100 employees, with 60 of them in South Florida. The company’s widely distributed gift/wellness cards are available online and at 40,000-plus retailers worldwide, as well as through corporate incentive programs. New York-based Zeel enables on-demand massages in seven major metro areas, including South Florida – launched locally in August 2014 – New York City, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Boston, and Chicago, with plans for expansion in the near term. Massages are booked and paid for through the Zeel app for iPhone and Android.
