The ongoing retail convenience revolution has brought apparel, groceries and car purchases to Houstonians' front doorsteps. Now, a New York-based company that brings massages on demand to customers in their homes and hotels has added Houston as its 37th city. Zeel Massage On Demand lets customers order a licensed massage therapist via smartphone app. The massage therapist brings equipment to the customer and can do Swedish, deep-tissue, prenatal, sports and couples massage techniques for 60 to 90 minutes. Prices begin at $105 for a 60-minute session. Houston's large, hard-working population made it a natural fit for Zeel service, CEO Samer Hamadeh said in a statement. "Houston is at the core of top industries, like energy," Hamadeh said. "Moreover, Houston, is one of the most vibrant, diverse, and large cities in the USA. We expect Houston will embrace the Zeel Massage On Demand revolution." Zeel was founded in New York City in 2010. Since then, it has added a network of 7,000 massage therapists and operates in more than 30 other cities.
