Company offers massage on demand
Groceries. Fast food. Beer. Even cookies and milk. You can get just about anything on demand. Now you can order a massage. Zeel, the Massage On Demand company has launched services in Guilford, Forsyth and Alamance counties. The Zeel app allows users to request a licensed massage therapist, complete with massage table and music, to come right to your home, hotel or office in as little as an hour. It's like Uber for massage therapy. “Charlotte, Raleigh and Durham’s reception to Zeel’s massage service has been incredible,” said Zeel’s founder and CEO, Samer Hamadeh. “It became clear that we needed to provide in-home massages to even more cities in North Carolina, and so we made that happen fast." Hamadeh launched Zeel in 2012 after spending two years streamlining a more accessible wellness service with the help of a team of professionals. Massages are personalized by choosing the time, length, and location for the massage, the preferred gender of the massage therapist, the massage technique, and the option of adding notes such as a reflexology request or special attention to an injury. Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, couples, and sleep massages can be scheduled. Massages are delivered by vetted, licensed, insured and experienced massage therapists in Zeel’s network. Massage therapists bring the massage table, music, and everything needed. Through the iPhone or Android app, or at zeel.com, massages can be scheduled as early as 8 a.m. and as late as 10:30 p.m. 365 days a year. The cost of a 60-minute massage in North Carolina is $105, which includes tax and an 18-percent tip. Sign up for a membership and get a discounted massage each month, discounts on all other massages and a free massage table. For more information, visit zeel.com.
