Massage Therapist "CMT, LMT"
Certified massage therapist Charity Whiting is able to identify the individual needs of her clients and offer relevant therapies to help them meet their wellness goals.
With experience in a range of health care settings, from day spas to chiropractic offices to resorts, Charity has a wealth of knowledge and is able to determine just what it takes to enhance her clients' well-being. She is a graduate of the Universal Therapeutic Massage Institute in Albuquerque, N.M., and employs a combination of modalities to facilitate this process.
Charity is an active health enthusiast herself, and enjoys trail running, Ashtanga yoga and gardening. She encourages her clients to take on healthful activities in their own lives, and says, "In my practice I find it helpful to educate clients about the tremendous influence they have over their well-being. I make suggestions about everything from stretching and breathing techniques to nutrition and dietary habits."
An artist, Charity has also studied ceramic arts at the University of New Mexico and applies skills learned from working with clay to her practice as a bodyworker today. "There are amazing similarities between making pottery and doing bodywork!" she proclaims.
