Patti Coughlin spent more than two decades working in cardiovascular medicine before becoming a certified massage therapist. The owner of True Face and Body, a mini eco-conscious spa in Westlake Village, Calif., Patti has been customizing therapeutic and restorative sessions for clients over the last dozen years.
“I pride myself on being able to view each session from the client’s viewpoint first and never forget how important it is to listen to what the client and their bodies tell me,” Patti says. Each session features a mix of modalities to meet a specific need. As a result of her thorough effort, she tends to attract long-term followers, many clients who started seeing her when she became a bodyworker in 2000.
Before becoming a massage therapist, Patti worked in cardiovascular medicine for two decades, seeing hundreds of patients all dealing with the symptoms of stress. After discovering the advantages of bodywork, she decided to shift gears and share the benefits of massage instead.
Affiliated with wellness professionals, each extensively trained, True Face and Body offers aesthetics, Pilates and other restorative and complimentary health care services. In addition, her practice uses only all-natural and organic products.
