Know yourself. That's what Tracy Scribner, a licensed and nationally certified massage therapist, recommends. She says, "Identify when to agree or disagree with your body, and know how to comply."
In addition to having national certification from the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB), Tracy is a licensed massage therapist in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
Tracy's massage therapy beginnings can be traced back to her childhood, when she'd massage family members' feet to provide a sense of relaxation and relief. Her young introduction into the world of bodywork didn't end there. Tracy went on to become a junior missionary as a teenager, during which she'd visit senior citizen homes, providing massage to the elderly. These experiences fueled her passion for helping others improve their health, and Tracy hasn't slowed down since.
Today, Tracy works with clients near the D.C. area, either out of her studio in Temple Hills, Md. or in their private homes, offices or, for those visiting the area, hotels. Her goal: to deal with all of the aspects required in order to bring her clients into a disciplined, healthier lifestyle—"while still bringing you all the balanced comfort of pampering yourself, the way you deserve!" she says.
