Stacey Larson is a nationally and state certified massage therapist since 2008 and the owner of San Diego's Maya Massage and Spa.
A graduate of the Ashmead School of Massage in Washington State, where she excelled in the application of deep tissue therapies, Stacey now operates under the philosophy that bodywork has the power to produce long-lasting change. "Without fixing the underlying issues behind the pain felt by the client," she says, "the client will have short-term relief from symptoms of pain, but will continue to experience stress, pain and related symptoms."
Ultimately, Stacey's goal is to correct postural imbalances and remove adhesions that may be inhibiting her client from living their life to the fullest. When necessary, she seeks the advice of medical professionals and refers her clients to chiropractors and other physicians.
Always in search of the latest and most advanced techniques in the field, Stacey's personal practice is one that is constantly evolving. As she puts it, she is constantly re-inventing her skills in order to provide the best quality massage.
