Jessica Moon wants her clients to become not only healthier, but experts in their health by teaching them how to use food as fuel and how to incorporate exercise into a busy lifestyle.
Growing up on a ranch outside of Yosemite National Park, Jessica often found herself running for her life from large buffalo, an experience she wouldn’t change for the world. Drawn to health and fitness at a young age, she became a physical therapy aide shortly after turning 18. “It was there that I realized exercise was not just a fad I could shuffle in and out of my life when it suited me, but rather, a life-long journey and commitment!” she says.
Jessica continued to study nutrition for years before going on to complete an intense sports training program in 2008. Now a certified personal trainer, she established Phase 10 Athletics, a 10-phase program that incorporates every area of fitness: nutrition, posture, flexibility, balance, endurance, core, strength, speed, agility and power.
“Each client is looking for more than just a workout,” says Jessica, who brings all necessary equipment to a training session. “I am motivated by the opportunity to provide my clients with the path to a more fulfilled life through diet and exercise!”
Each workout features a variety of plyometrics, cardiovascular exercises, and strength and core training. In addition to working with clients on-site, Phase 10 offers running groups, online meal planning and customer appreciation giveaways.
