Acupuncturist "LAc, MSTOM"
Patients seek the help of licensed acupuncturist Daniel Haun with the intention of treating a specific pain or syndrome. As they come to realize the relaxing and restorative qualities of acupuncture, many of them become long-standing clients.
Daniel grew up in Wisconsin and North Carolina, where he recalls roaming the Pamlico River with his brothers. After graduating from Appalachian State University with a bachelor's degree in biology, he accepted a job as an environmental chemist out in Pasadena, and while there, met his wife, who he credits for his initial interest in Chinese medicine.
Along with Anne, his wife and colleague, Daniel founded his private practice in Oceanside, Calif., where he offers relief from chronic pain and sports injuries to the residents of the west coast community. While patients often experience at least a small amount of relief after just one or two sessions, he stresses the fact that acupuncture is a cumulative procedure and that progress comes with time and, sometimes, in small increments.
Beyond his office walls, Daniel teaches all of his patients to find balance through simple daily acts such as meditation, yoga, gardening or just taking a walk. He is passionate about helping others to conquer their health concerns and finds his work rewarding and fulfilling on many levels.
