Mary Amar may have celebrity clients like Carrot Top, Alice in Chains and Sinbad, but she gives all her clients the same high quality care and compassion.
The Las Vegas, Nev.-based licensed massage therapist combines her healing touch with a deep knowledge of physiology, as she attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.
Mary specializes in mobile massages and is trained in several modalities, including Swedish, pregnancy, reflexology, deep tissue, shiatsu and sports massage.
"Massage is such a rewarding path for reaching out to others and bringing peace and healing to those I am privileged to touch," says Mary. "What an incredible job!"
Mary attributes her own unlikely recovery from injury to the power of massage. Following an injury in 2006, she developed a frozen knee and was told by doctors that she would never be able to bend that joint again. Through her own determination, however, Mary rehabilitated her leg over two years and achieved what doctors had said would be impossible. Today she brings a genuine understanding and empathy to all her clients who suffer from injuries.
In addition to offering private, full-body massages, Mary also provides chair massage for CES (Consumer Electronics Show), the World Series of Poker and America's Got Talent.
