Dermatologist "MD, FAAD"

Dr. Schweiger is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan with distinction, this former wolverine went on to earn his doctor of medicine from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine back on the east coast.

During this time, Dr. Schweiger was elected into the prestigious society known as Alpha Omega Alpha, after which he completed his internship in internal medicine at New York University Medical Center and his dermatology residency at the University of Kansas, where he was chief resident.

A member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Dr. Schweiger has become a household name in his field, his accomplishments which range from performing the first clinical trials for emerging technologies to publishing the first case report using Restylane to treat cleft-lip.

In the news, Dr. Schweiger demonstrates a shrewd ability to help the public to better understand how to address common skin concerns. With his assistance, women have learned to combat age-related spots, melasma and undereye circles and to smooth acne scars just by picking up a magazine. In addition, Dr. Schweiger is one of the few practitioners who currently offer a non-invasive fat reduction procedure known as CoolSculpting and has performed this breakthrough treatment on WABC's Eyewitness News.
