Grace C.

Acupuncturist "LAc"

With unfettered optimism and boundless energy, Grace Chang finds every day a rewarding day, especially if she is guiding others to good health and well-being. A licensed acupuncturist and herbalist serving the Oakland/East Bay area of northern California, she has assisted numerous individuals suffering from digestive disorders, chronic pain and more.

Grace works with patients at Acupuncture with Grace, a private practice she established in Oakland in 2010. Many of her clients are long-time sufferers of allergies, arthritis, emotional issues and weight problems, among other conditions. Over the years, Grace has found the true culprit to chronic and stubborn conditions: toxicity. “Unless toxicity is addressed, long-term progress and a genuine resolution of the issue is significantly limited at best,” she says.

Originally in public relations, Grace decided to become an acupuncturist because she loves helping others to improve their health. “My passion lies in enabling my patients to reconnect with the joy and appreciation that accompanies true lifelong health and happiness,” she says.

Grace empowers clients by offering self-care knowledge, especially about foods that promote healing and vitality. She says, "I believe that true health and healing is absolutely within our own grasp. With a little help from the right therapy, proper nutrition, education of our food choices and exercise, vibrant health and happiness is more easily attainable than we realize."

Growing up with traditional Chinese parents, Grace's fluency in Mandarin came in handy when it came time to studying acupuncture. After graduating from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, she trained at the Chengdu University in China’s Sichuan Province. Today, she offers five element acupuncture, Korean Sa-Am four point needle technique and the balance method, in addition to Traditional Chinese Medicine.
