Dr. Poiman is the director of laser dentistry at Mount Sinai Hospital. He lectures around the world, is a member of the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry, and co-authored the book Laser Dentistry for Children.
Highly trained and renowned in his field, Dr. Poiman is one of only 450 dentists worldwide to graduate from the UCLA Aesthetic Continuum. He was included in the most recent edition of the Consumers' Research Council of America's Guide of top dentists in the U.S., and his aesthetic cases have been published in Dentistry Today, a teaching magazine for dentists.
In 2004, Dr. Poiman was awarded a prestigious Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), a feat which requires 500 hours of continuing dental education, a comprehensive written exam and the fulfillment of five years of continuous membership with the AGD. This award is recognized as a symbol of excellence in the dental profession, and signifies a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
