How did you spend your Valentine’s Day? Several Zeel Massage Therapists devoted several hours to winning the hearts of dogs and animal lovers alike, at the Best Friends Valentine’s Day adoption event at 22 Little West 12th Street.
The adoption event featured a weekend of dozens of adorable dogs and cats, all available for an adoption fee of a mere $10. Zeel Chair Massage was available (for humans) starting with an alcohol-free “Yappy Hour” on Friday evening.
On Saturday, Zeel’s Lisa Veyka made a special appearance to offer dog massage to the potential canine adoptees. (Lisa says that while cats like a nice massage too, they typically only tolerate it for a few minutes at a time.) While some pups were too excited to relax into Lisa’s practiced hands, other dogs relished their time getting a professional massage from Lisa.
At the end of the weekend, over 50 dogs and cats found love and went to new homes, and dozens of Best Friends visitors, volunteers and dogs enjoyed Zeel Massage. A great Valentine’s Day for all!
