The classic office-based work culture of many companies abruptly shifted from five days a week in the office to full-time remote work after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic brought its own stresses and changes, such as the so-called Great Resignation of 2021 which saw a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/fact-tank\/2022\/03\/09\/majority-of-workers-who-quit-a-job-in-2021-cite-low-pay-no-opportunities-for-advancement-feeling-disrespected\/\">20-year high<\/a> in voluntary resignations.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the last six months, the state of the workforce has shifted toward hybrid work\u2014with employees in the office on some days and working from home on others. A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gallup.com\/workplace\/397751\/returning-office-current-preferred-future-state-remote-work.aspx\">June 2022 Gallup poll<\/a> predicted that <strong>55% of all workers would be following a hybrid schedule by the beginning of 2023<\/strong>. Some employers, like Goldman Sachs and Disney, have gone further, requiring employees to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/companies-making-workers-employees-return-to-office-rto-wfh-hybrid-2023-1\">return to the office<\/a> at least four days a week. Employees have consistently indicated a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mckinsey.com\/industries\/real-estate\/our-insights\/americans-are-embracing-flexible-work-and-they-want-more-of-it\">preference for in-home work<\/a>, with almost 87% taking advantage of the ability to work from home where available.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In short, what do employers need to know about this Employee Appreciation Day\u2014which this year, falls on March 3, 2023?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Employees are stressed<\/li><li>Employees are burnt out&nbsp;<\/li><li>Employees want to feel valued&nbsp;<\/li><li>Employees want to be able to be part of their workplace both at home and in the office&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For those reasons, Zeel has expanded its workplace offerings for 2023.
