Avoid Election Stress This Fall

2016 election sign atop voter registration sheet.

Election have your stomach and backs in knots?  You’re not alone. According to the American Psychological Association, 52% of all Americans are suffering moderate to severe election-related stress – and no, it doesn’t matter what political party you favor.

We know it’s hard to spend time away from election news. We have a few humble suggestions here at Zeel massage to ease your November 8 woes.

Unplug.

All those Killary and Drumpf memes are raising your blood pressure. Spend an evening or two blissfully free of social media and its stresses.

Vote early.

Anticipation is the worst part of anxiety. If you’re lucky enough to be in a state that allows early voting, take advantage and get it out of the way.

Meditate.

At work and can’t avoid the election chatter? Close your eyes, focus on your breath and let dark clouds of political thought drift away as you meditate at the office.

Massage.

Massage lowers your blood pressure and reduces back pain, headaches, and stress levels. Plus, you won’t be tempted to check your phone or watch the news when getting your in home Zeel massage –right? (Seriously, don’t do it.) Know someone who’s suffering? Get them a gift massage too.

Saving money reduces stress too (hello, national debt) – so take $25 off your first Zeel massage with the code ELECTION.
