Pigeon pose with a baby-bump may be rather challenging - maybe even impossible. Prenatal yoga is designed to give expecting mothers a series of safe, yoga-inspired exercises to strengthen the core, pelvic muscles, and mind during pregnancy.

Prenatal yoga uses gentle movements and deep yogic breathing to help alleviate pregnancy aches, minimize swelling, and strengthen the muscles that help push baby out. Prenatal yoga is also a proactive way to stay in shape while pregnant, making it easier to shed the post-baby pounds and get back into your pre-baby pants.

Some advice? When participating in a prenatal yoga class, mind your balance. Your center of gravity dramatically shifts when there's two (or more) of you!
