Pelleve Side Effects
Pelleve has only mild side effects like redness and swelling. If performed by a licensed physician in the proper medical setting, your skin shouldn't suffer any burns, scars, or infections.
Who shouldn't use it: If you have a pacemaker or defibrillator, do not use Pelleve. Make sure you can communicate with your practitioner, as you will need to give feedback during the procedure.
Drawbacks: Pelleve is a relatively new wrinkle treatment, and so its results and side effects are still under investigation. You cannot use any painkillers during the Pelleve procedure.
Manufacturer warnings: Pelleve is indicated for the cosmetic correction of mild to moderate facial wrinkles for skin phototypes I-IV. Possible side effects of Pelleve are usually treatment-site related and include mild discomfort during the procedure localized within the treatment area. Mild swelling and redness may occur which typically go away within 2 to 24 hours.
Recovery Time For Pelleve
There is no downtime after Pelleve.
After care for Pelleve: An ice pack can be applied after your Pelleve treatment to minimize redness and swelling. Moisturize your skin for at least one week after treatment.
