Can Belotero be injected under the eyes 12 months after receiving Radiesse in the same area?
Nelson Novick (New York, NY) on Jul 25, 2012
Since Radiesse is a semipermanent filling agent, it is metabolically degraded naturally with time. So long as all the material has been metabolized there should be little problem in adding another filling agent. If lumps or bumps or visible evidence of the Radiesse filler still remain (as is often the case under the eyes where results may last for years after treatment), treating with any other agent might not be advisable at this time or must be done cautiously and only by very experienced injectors. How best to proceed can be determined at the time of consultation.
