If I have crowns, can i still do bridges next to the crowns?

I think the question should be “if I have a crown and need a bridge because a tooth next to the crown needs to be extracted, do you have to replace the crown in order to do a bridge?†The only reason a bridge is required is when a tooth is missing and in order to make a bridge you need to anchor the bridge adjunct to the missing teeth. In other words, at least two teeth need crowns in order to place a bridge. We don’t advise on bridges to replace a missing tooth. Dental implants that anchor to the bone are the most advanced and least invasive procedure. Long term dental implants are also the healthiest option.
