Michael Julien (Solana Beach, CA) on Oct 21, 2011
Yes, it is OK to continue treatment while pregnant. There are points that must be avoided during pregnancy and your practitioner should know which ones shouldn't be used.
Meg Richichi (New York, NY) on Oct 21, 2011
Absolutely! As a matter of fact- I quite frequently receive referrals from high risk OBGYN's around the city. I treat a wide array of issues ranging from insomnia, nausea, sciatica and breech position to inducing labor.
Michael Moy (Willowbrook, IL) on Mar 20, 2012
yes, but avoid some of the strong or sensitive points.

Yes of course. Most of my fertility patients receive treatments up to and even during labor. It is safe when performed by a trained physician and is beneficial for many things including fatigue, nausea, back pain, depression that often accompany pregnancy. Just make sure the physician is professionally trained.
Vanessa McKay (Orangeburg, NY) on Dec 30, 2011
YES! Especially if you were using acupuncture to become pregnant, it is advised to continue with treatment. It doesn't have to be as often, but it will definitely help with pregnancy related symptoms.
Rebecca Vasquez (San Diego, CA) on Dec 2, 2011
YES!!!! And congratulations!!! I am pregnant myself and am an acupuncturist. Acupuncture can help throughout the pregnancy. (It can also help with fertility, my specialty). It will help in the first trimester with morning sickness/nausea and with fatigue, later to reduce back pain, or way later to induce!!! How exciting! If you would like more info, or would like a referral for someone in your area, feel free to email me. Best, Rebecca Vasquez, L.Ac. (in San Diego) email@example.com www.acumaster.com
