Educating our patients is a crucial aspect of Baer Dental Designs. We want our patients to understand how to prevent oral health problems while being compassionate for their current condition.
For as long as he can remember, Dr. Baer has loved working with his hands—taking things apart and putting them back together again. As a dentist, he is able to put this enduring passion to good use, helping his patients to improve the quality of their lives.
Dr. Baer received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry in 2004. With a strong commitment to education, he went on to complete an extra year of training beyond dental school at the Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, where he gained a solid understanding in aesthetic procedures, dental implants, gum surgeries, root canals, treatment of complex dental cases and management of medically compromised patients.
During this time, Dr. Baer had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented dentists in the U.S. He continues to periodically improve his skills and has amassed hundreds of hours of continuing education through courses at the Kois Center in Seattle.
In addition, Dr. Baer is involved with many educational aspects of dentistry, presenting lectures to fellow dentists and working with dental manufacturers on the development of dental products. His professional photography has also been used by dental manufacturers to show other dentists how to perform a treatment or to use their products correctly.
