Information And Treatment
Nasolabial folds are the grooves that run between the bottom of the nose and the corners of the mouth. They typically become deeper and more pronounced with age as the face sags (due to the loss of skin collagen and facial fat with age). They are also called smile lines, or more cutely, parentheses.
Marionette lines, or puppet lines, are similar folds or wrinkles that extend down from the corners of the mouth.
Age range: Nasolabial folds often start to deepen in your 20s. Nasolabial folds are a sign of increasing age.
